On arriving in Cartagena, our first port of call was an actual shower and it was heaven. On the boat, we had only been washing in the sea for 5 days and my skin was starting to look crusty & reptile like from the salt water!
Post pampering & moisturising, we took a sunset stroll to take in our new surroundings and get our first taste of the culture. It was pretty magical and I had a good feeling about Cartagena & Colombia.
We even stumbled across some traditional dancing in the main square. Not too shabby for a Monday night!
