Jaco

Our urge to leave Tamarindo on a national holiday meant that our options for the next destination were pretty limited with no buses running.

Still slightly smashed, we hired a taxi between 6 of us and headed down the coast to Jaco, another famous surf spot.

On route we went over a bridge which is famous for croc watching so we jumped out and had a quick peak. The crocs were absolutely MASSIVE and there were thousands of them just swimming about and chilling on the banks.

Jaco town wasn't all it was cracked up to be and it kinda felt like it was a popular destination 5 years ago and now it was a bit rundown and overbuilt.

The beach was quite nice though and the shopping was excellent, with us all being able to get things we had been searching for in Central America for months, which kinda made the trip worth it....
